We organized a family-friendly protest of the removal of the Pride crosswalk at Taft & Westheimer alongside other community groups.

We're leading a community coalition to advocate for a safer redesign of West Alabama Street and organized a public letter now endorsed by dozens of Montrose businesses, civic groups, and faith communities.

When the Montrose TIRZ wouldn't commit to gathering public feedback or hosting a public meeting about West Alabama's redesign, we took action and hosted a public open house and gathered >100 locals' input on what they'd like to see in the project.

Weekly neighborhood meetings where residents discuss transportation challenges, share concerns about development projects, and collaborate on community-driven solutions. These informal gatherings build relationships and identify priority areas for advocacy.

The first community-led study of the pedestrian realm along Montrose Boulevard, assessing the safety and accessibility of sidewalks, bus stops, and intersections.

Organized community resistance to Mayor Whitmire's unilateral decision making and disregard of Montrose residents in the Montrose Blvd redesign, impacting the safety of all road users.

A community bike ride to highlight road safety issues, advocate for better cycling infrastructure, and experience Montrose Boulevard’s challenges firsthand.
